Laminate Glass
Laminate glass is one of a variety of safety glasses that can be used to put together two or more layers of flat glass joined by the PVB interlayer. In this process, the PVB layer adheres to the glass and creates a chemical and physical connection. This intermediate layer maintains the glass bonding when failing, and also acts as an insulator against noise and reduces the UV rays by up to 99%.
Advantages of laminated glass
Safety : The ordinary glass is cracked when it hits the impact, and it turns into fragments that can endanger many. If the laminate glass, due to having a PVB backing, takes up the force of the collision and, as a result, is more resistant to the impact. In the event of breakage of the laminate glass, the middle PVB layer prevents the split parts from being splashed around, and in other words, the layer is broken by clinging to the pieces of the glass, keeping them together, thereby causing the injury and injury It’s greatly reduced.
Soundproof : The resistance to sound in the luminaire is noticeable, so that it prevents the sound from entering the outside and is considered as a sound insulation compared to conventional glass.
UV Ray control :The main causes of erosion and dying of furniture and carpets are chemical reactions induced by UV rays of the sun. The UV absorbent additives used in the PVB layer in laminate glass can partially prevent these harmful rays and reduce the damage caused.
